Our contact form collects the data you enter (name, e-mail address and message) exclusively for transmitting your inquiry by e-mail. The data is not stored on our servers, but forwarded directly via a secure serverless function to our e-mail server (Hetzner SMTP). For the security of the form, measures such as a honeypot field (against bots), shared token verification and a CORS allowlist are used. These serve to protect against misuse and ensure that only authorized requests from our website are processed. The processing of your data is based on Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. b GDPR, insofar as your inquiry is related to the fulfillment of a contract or is necessary for pre-contractual measures. In all other cases, the processing is based on our legitimate interest in the effective handling of the inquiries directed to us (Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f GDPR). Your data will not be passed on to third parties unless this is legally required.

If you subscribe to our newsletter, we use your e-mail address to send you regular information about new skateboarding content, videos, images and events. Registration takes place via a double opt-in procedure to ensure that you are the owner of the e-mail address. The processing of your e-mail address is based on your consent (Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. a GDPR). Storage of the IP Address Our comment function stores the IP addresses of users who write comments. Since we do not check comments on our site before they are released, we need this data in order to take action against the author in the event of legal violations such as insults or propaganda.
Subscribing to Comments As a user of the page, you can subscribe to comments after registering. You will receive a confirmation e-mail to check whether you are the owner of the specified e-mail address. You can cancel this function at any time via a link in the info mails. The data entered in the context of subscribing to comments will be deleted in this case; however, not if you have provided this data for other purposes and elsewhere (e.g. newsletter subscription) to us.
Storage Duration of Comments The comments and the associated data are stored and remain on our website until the commented content has been completely deleted or the comments must be deleted for legal reasons (e.g. offensive comments).
Legal Basis The storage of comments is based on your consent (Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. a GDPR). You can revoke a consent you have given at any time. This requires a simple message by e-mail to us. The legality of the data processing operations already carried out remains unaffected by the revocation.
